I HAVE AN OPPERTUNITY TO BUY A TRACTION BAR FOR SUPER CHEAP. IM ALL ABOUT HANDLING, NOT DRAGING.

IS A TRATION BAR GOOD FOR AUTO CROSS, OR JUST DRAG??

It will help stiffen up the chasis alot so I would say its also good for autocross.

 

they are mostly intended for launch during drag
but as smileycvc said it will also improve the stiffness of the chasis.

It may be cheap but also keep weight in mind

do they change how far you cant turn the wheel? my boi had some on his 00 Si and his bars rubbed the inner part of his stock si wheel when he turned the wheel all the way one direction..

 

^^^ Not if you buy a good one. You should have no problems turning at all. I can turn wheel all the way, just be sure to get an alignment after its installed.

You should have been a better father to him and told him not to get a cheapo traction bar setup. Kids need better discipline these days...

 

I think something needs to be adjusted if his wheel is being rubbed. I never had that issue and I have never even hearing of anyone having that problem.

 

good bars like the l-con and full race wont rub. cheapo bars will.

i think for auto-x you should look into some frame locks first. they're cheaper and do a good job. http://www.korbachperformance....5.htm
