best motor for base. opinions please.

whats the best motor to start with for a nasty all motor build? LS/Vtec, B20/Vtec, B16, B18, Poor Mans Type R, H22, or is a K20a realllllllly worth the money. note that i plan on sleeves an boring but just want to hear what you guys have to say.
