Which cams for daily drive
Hello. I'm bilding my new engine B18C 2.1 L block CR around 12.5 with ITR head. What you think which cams will be the best for my engine for daily drive and give me much power
1. Skunk2 S2
2. Jun type 3
3. Toda C2
4. Skunk2 S2Pro
5. your opinion

skunk2 stg 2 = JUN 3s. any of those 3 would be my choice. i think the pro 2s are the way to go. newer cam profile than the JUN 3s.n Pro 2 because your running a 2L. although i think any of the above cams you mentioned will work.
i keep seeing this **** though. is your motor truly a 12.5:1 motor or are you just going off the pistons specs? a long time ago i had some supposed 12.5:1 pistons in my motor. by the time you figure PTDH, gasket etc etc they were actually only 11.3:1.

Just because you have bad luck doesn't mean everyone else does...
i've been running the s2s2's for just about a year now..no problems..
I did break some crane stage 2's i bought from a guy on honda-tech about a year ago but they were already precracked..and neither him nor i knew..just took a good rev to 9300rpms to find out..lucky even after that rev..it didn't actually break until i just was pulling away from a stop light at like 1k rpms..nothing broken, or bent..
I currently run these cams.. my motor is a 99 usdm type-r, with a 3layer oem HG, ferrea HC SS valves, and a jdm b18c head milled 0.020 of an inch, cr is 11.8~12.0. These cams are great.
