has anyone made a adapter plate to use a vtec intake manifold on a ls or b20? i am thinking of going ls-vtec but i'd like to start buying most of my parts before the build off, adn i have a nice gsr manifold laying around. I know it doesn't bo tlt up to the stock ls head, but has anyone made an adapter?

It pointless to put GSR IM on an LS, you would loose power if anything. The GSR IM is designed for high RPM horse power, whereas your stock LS IM is designed for midrange torque.

no. the gsr manifold is designed to keep a broad powerband without sacrificing top end.

 

just get a skunk2 manifold, its a itr replica.

or a blox. it's a replica of a replica.

 

here is the deal, i am going to be building a vtec head in the fex months ahead. so if i were to buy a manifold for the ls head, and then switch over to the vtec head later. it would just cost me double... i'd rather figure out how to mount a vtec manifold to the non-vtec head.

 

how about wait until you go vtec then buy a manifold
