Default question about my clutch...

well when i bought my car 00 SI, the guy said it had a performance clutch, well sometimes the clutch seems to have two engaging point on first gear. when I'm releasing the clutch it catches really quick and the it looses the engagement and as i keep releasing the clutch it engages again. is the clutch going bad?

Sounds like it was an F1 racing clutch.

Just a guess though, they're okay. I've only heard one or two bad reviews, of 12-20 reviews I've heard, all others were great.

Have you double-checked that your clutch fluid reservoir is filled up?

My clutch does strange things when the fluid gets low. Check the level, pump the clutch pedal a half dozen or more times, then check the reservoir again to see if the level changed at all. If it's still at the line then at least it isn't your fluid.

Ive had one of those f1 racing clutches for 15k miles and i have no problems..Maybe its that new 2-stage clutch.
You might need to bleed your clutch system.
