rough idle
every time ED is at idle, it seems to shake like ifit was getting at lower rpms. i dont have a tach. thats why i cant really tell. i have cleaned the iacv and tested it according to "alldata". Its a d16y8 and obd0 componets such as mani and everything else. i have the stock pm6. but i noticed every time the alternator puts load on the engine. it idles rough. such as when i turn my lights on or hit the brakes, then the iacv takes over adjusts the idle. i did a compression test and a wet one as well, i did a vacum test and they all came up fine. so i have no bent vaves and my engine is phisicaly healthy. Also one more key fact, every since i replaced my alternator it does it worse, it had the problem before, but this time it got worst ever eince i installed the new one.
so in a nutshell,
my car idles rough
worst after i replaced the alternator (btw. i replaced the alternator because i had
the charginglight come on one me)
engine internals are healthy
iacv valve operating correctly
motor mounts are ok
TIA.

what about fuel injectors? any reason to suspect them? and spark plugs? are they fouled or anything? completely unrelated to your alternator, but worth checking. your alternator belt may be too tight, but i dont think that would cause the symptoms you are having. good luck

spark plugs are healthy, not fouled or nothing like that.the porselin is whilte like its supposed to be. how would the fuel injectors give me a rough idle at times? shouldnt they give it to u at all times?
any other suggestions?

also forgot to mention. i adjusted my idle air screw so it would not do it as much, but it is still doing it pretty badly, now every time i start the engine it is pretty accelerated. but i can deal with that
