ive searched but no one really has my setup, heres what i got, a 95 gsr fully built sleeved to 83mm with a crower built head with stock cams, stock intake manifold, stock injectors, stock fpr, and stock ignition. The problem is that i keep getting a check engine light for IACV as soon as i start the car. Ive checked the sensor itself and it clicks, checked for power in the harness and it works, im sure the sensor itself works too, here is my custom part though, i have a catch can setup from greddy where i used a z10motorsports plug up the stock catch can port and took out those two freeze plugs in the back of the block to run to the catch can, and just capped off the other nipples that ran to the stock catch can on the block and IM... what should i do....??

 

As long as you have tested the continuity in the wires, to the IACV plug from the ECU, and the sensor is plugged in, you should be able to rule out wiring.

The catch can setup will not trip the IACV. Try pulling it off and cleaning it, or swap in another.

 

alright ill give that stuff a shot, but yea there is power from the computer to the sensor and there is power going back to the ground, maybe it just needs to be cleaned out, any other opinions........
