And are you getting full throttle?

????

I gained 12hp on the top on a stock motor by just bolting on TWM's with a good tune Not too mention a ton of midrange

Good thing to look for

As im sure youre aware, the more developed the engine combo , the harder those extra horses are to wring out, stock engine would show a bigger gain than an already modded engine, etc.

just out of curiousity, what rods (rod length) did you use with the 95mm crank?

Yes, but what about the torque.....HP be damned, we need the real information

You will need a carb balancer to syncronise the throttle plates.Sounded like a boxer engine the other time, so probably need to make some adjustments. 52mm is rated for 348bhp, feels kind of big? Or maybe you need bigger cams like M25E or supercams to match? But I think the c/r needs to be 15.... hmmm

If you are using a PR3 head, those results do not surprise me at all.

We've seen power loss with TWM's 50mm's on PR3 heads versus Ported ITR IM's and JG VictorX manifolds on 2.0L's.

Runner to throat transition on TWM's is just retarded on PR3 heads, and when you add enough cr and movement of air from a large crank like that, you are definately going to hurt rather than help.

Remember, out of the box, TWM's will only make power on mild cr 1.8L engines, more on P72 heads than PR3 heads as well. If you want to make power with TWM's on a different setup, you must buy various combinations of stacks and tune stack length/size. Otherwise, you will make more power with a good IM 9 times out of 10.

If I were you, I'd switch back to the JG, because you aren't going to make more power on your setup with TWM's.

you're saying exactly what I wanted to say, but I kinda want to know the rod length that he used, with that piece of info, I'd be able to know his piston speed, but usually as I've seen big crank motor with high pistons' speeds don't really like the TWM

not to mention the fact that TWM developed the itb's using a p72 head and for a gsr they are set up good, but for a pr3, the angle on the throttle bodies are all wrong

Not all TWM's are created equal. I have had to move the mounting holes up .090 and over .020 to get some to match a PR3 head before starting to port them.

Over what? B16 IM? ITR IM?

Moral of the story, you will get more power (everywhere) using a good IM versus TWM's.
