Default eating distibutors???? B16a turbo

So my car just ate its 4th disributor! I have no idea what it could be. At first I thought that it was my MSD system cause I had it hooked up for the last 3. So for this 4thh one I left it disconected and it still went out. It started out just fine when I put it on it was a brand new one no rebuild. Then about after a month it starts screwing up. When I go to cross into vtec the tach goes nuts right before crossover then the car starts surging and spitting and stalling. I checked the timing it is all fine. What else could it be.

I have heard about that happening with MSD setups, but if you had it disconnected for that last one I have no idea.

Bad plug wires will do it too. Bad connection to the plugs.

I have cheked the wiring it is all good. The plug wires are somewhat new too. I guess I could go back through the wiring down through the harness.

If the dizzy's popping, it's unlikely to be on the low voltage side. Normally they pop like that when you have too much voltage on the high voltage side. That's caused by bad wires, too much plug gap or pulling a plug wire off while the engines running/cranking the engine with the plug wires disconnected.
