I think a common one is to use CBR 954 or CBR 929 coils. Do a search on those i think there are a couple setups on honda-tech even.

I have a coil on plug setup on my B18C motor. I am using s2000 coils, AEM EPM, AEM EMS, and a Rywire custom wire harness to tie everything together.. Works great!

do you know how much that setup cost you?

i was trying to find people with COP setups on Bs and couldn't find any recent ones to ask details about.

it can add up pretty quick, because you need an AEM EMS, an AEM EPM, the coils, and tuning..

Luckily for me, I already had an AEM EMS, my friend gave me the coils for free, I was already getting a Rywire harness made, and I already needed to get the car tuned. So I just bought an AEM EPM to complete the setup and make it work.

Any benefits to doing this vs a normal distributor ignition?

How much did you purchase the rywire harness for your cop setup for?

instead of one coil for 4 cylinders you have 1 coil per cylinder which gives each coil more time to charge up. also they don't go out as fast cause each coil is only firing 1/4 as many times as the original coil
