y7 swaparoo
when putting the d16y7 into 90 si body, using obd1 po5 ecu, is the d16a6 distributor and intake manifold interchangable to run the obd2 motor, i have an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness to take care of the ecu but do i have to buy a d16y7 wiring harness or can i just use my distributor?? help would be good thanks guys

Yeah,,you need to get an obd1/2 distributor or an obd0 ecu.
If you wanted to, you could use your old si ecu,distributor and intake manifold and have the engine running fine..that's the cheapest way.

well i already have a chipped p05 (obd1) and the motor already has the obd2 distributor so like i could buy a conversion harness for the obd2 distribtor to the obd1 ecu ?? let me know i dont want to run into problems liek that other guy heh

obd1/obd2 distributor is the same thing,it will work fine with the p05 you want to use.
