I've got '96 hatch with a gsr tranny in it and a type r motor. The problem is that yesterday on the way to work, my shift lever fell and I couldn't shift unless I pulled it up first and then shifted. I put my car up and checked and the only thing that's broken is the 'Change Lever Dust Seal'. Everything else seemed to be intact and where it should be.
Anybody else ever run into this problem? I just find it hard to believe that the only thing that keeps my shift lever up is a rubber dust boot. Does anybody know if that's the only thing that needs to be replaced?
