question about b18c1????
i got a sleeved block from a friend of mine it has golden eagle sleeves and je 11.5.1 compression and eagle rods. he told me i need a ls v kit to put on a b16 head is this true??

If the block is a GSR(b18c1) like you posted, then no you do not. Maybe you friend got confused and thought that all B18 blocks needed the conversion to put on a B16 head.
