Default 1.8L Carb, how much WHP is possible?

I dont know why, but I was sitting at work today just pondering away, and for some reason I started to think...How much WHP is possible out of a Carb'd Honda Prelude? Im talking New Carberator, Fly Wheel, anything that can gain a bit of HP. What do you guys think?

I doubt anyone here is a carb expert here. But yes, a new flywheel, and a bigger carb, along with usual NA mods would help

IBTL

BlueLude84...You post some pointless questions. And I would just advise not to expect very much WHP out of that engine.

You want weber dcoe 40 or 45 dual carbs coupled to a custom intake manifold , a mild cam, port and polished head and the other typical mods, header's , exhaust etc. Iv'e got a 2nd gen as well .The bad thing about it is that most of the parts are very hard to find . I did a full rebuild before I got my 4th gen and havent realy touched it sence. I'm actualy thinking of selling off all of the parts. I got realy lucky and found a speedline intake mani from some guy on preludepower , they dont make them anymore so it's a hunk of gold to most carbed 2nd genners. Check out the 2nd gen fourm on http://preludepower.com a lot of people are doing big things .

So how was your car after you rebuilt it?
Any good gains?
Because im thinking that if im gonna get a new car anyways, i dont really wanna swap, and i dont really know how, so why not rebuild?
