Default my exp with my lx coupe

ok i been running my car for a while now and have 22000 miles on it so far. i run royal purple on it for 2 oil changes so far.i looked into alot of things for my car and one thing was a trubo or sc. i found a sc from redshift motorsports. don't know much about them but i am waiting to see whats what.breaks i am looking into right now for my front rotors because they keep sucking and going out too fast. for tires i use fusizon zri and they work good but am still looking for better tire. i say the royal purple is a must for r18 engine.i ran 2 trips out of state and my engine did good.fi you guys got any info on good big rotors and kits to take off the drums in the back for rotors let me know.

I'm not trying to sound like I'm bashing but how exactly do you think the Royal Purple actually did anything for you? The question is how do you feel it helped versus using another brand.

I personally haven't heard anything either about redshiftmotorsports, but i'm not gonna be the first buyer for that on an R18, unless they wanna test my car with the product and hook me up with it, i'd personally go with a Turbo setup from AJP (as so far they are the only company out there w/a turbo for the R18)

then stop being cheap and fork out the cash for some good tires. if treadware isn't an issue for you then get some Azenis RT-615, otherwise look into some bridgestone potenza pole positions, Kumho 712's i've had good experience with in the past. Type X says he's had good experience as well with the Goodyear T1s or soemthing...

you get what your pay for, and tires are exactly that

you have a lot of research to do my friend - read up in this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1865901, there is another link in that thread to some detailed informatoin about brake upgrades, otherwise, heed my advice in that thread

kits? They've never made kits in the past, you have to swap that **** in, look for a salvaged/wrecked civic EX or Si, grab the rear suspension from that, the EX/Si have the same rear brake setup

with other brands i had use in a old toyota pickup it messed up my engine very bad.even later on when useing those other motoroils to help older engines it did not help.this runs more smoothly and on the long trips when i got back from NY to louisiana none stop. i had hardly any radiator fuild in the radiator and it keep it going and cool.i run my car hard so i need something that is better.up to you what motor oil you want.not wanting to argue about it.
