OT: I need some opinions on the best pull truck/suv
I am looking to get a decent truck or suv for my daily drive and to pull the civic to the track what would you all suggest for an optimal compromise? (I cannot go over 25k for a price.)
(I would have posted in the correct forum but I dont go to any of the others and I would rather hear feedback from you guys)
Thanks for any suggestions!

we use a chevy 3500 dualy w/ duramax deisel and the allision tranny. It pulls the 48 foot trailor with two cars with little more power left. Only problem.......43,000
I personally would recomend a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I've got one now and I'm kinda biased. If you get one pick up a 5.2L v8. The 4.0 I6 probably wouldn't have the power you needed for mountains unless you got a stroker kit or supercharged it
Check http://www.jeepsunlimited.com if you ever become serious about it.

i woudl go with the ford f250 deisel option. I use the dually however 350 model but its way in the range of 36000+ very comfortable 4 seater compared to any other on the market. the 4 door crew cab 250 is the way though if you dont have too much too spend you can pick up a nice mode l2002 for cheap.
Those dodges are just overly noisy compared to the fords... the 7.3 navistar internation engine works great.

First off thanks for all of the opinions.. I appreciate it.
I would love to go with a diesel but it wont work out very good for me as a daily drive. My commute in the AM is only
about 5 minutes or so and the short trips aint' good for the diesel's longevity.
Ive figured these as my options: either a used 99-00 Eddie Bauer Expedition, a 99 Yukon Denali, or a 2000 LS package Tahoe..
It would be towing an 18-24ft covered trailer (pending price).

I'm gonna be towing an open trailer too....I was opting for the trailblazer or sacrifice the legroom and get a tundra....I kinda want the room for 7 passengers though...
either way, I'm using a old 91 4runner right now with a car dolley only...the 4runner's 3.0L is eating oil like crazy....

I have a Grand Cherokee w/ the 5.2 V8. I use it to pull my teg all the time and it has no problems at all. Plenty of power and torque, and its AWD.
Well it looks like Ill be using (Geoff's) Eddy and possibly keep my Talon if I cant get what I want for it. I like the Grand cherokee but Jeeps tend to get stuck in 8 foot deep mud holes. (wouldnt ya think geoff? haha)
Yea its nice to wake up 20 mins before work and be there 15 minutes early!

what do you guys think about a used 97-99ish expedition? I need something reliable that can also let me commute 240 miles a day on the highway
