Default 6G OEM Rear Lip Hardware

I'm having some trouble finding a hardware kit for a '96-'98 OEM coupe/sedan rear lip. Might it be the same as the '99-'00 Si rear lip or anything else? Any hints on where to possibly find one? I've been looking in several places online and so far no luck.

Oh, and according to the EDM EPC, the part numbers for the different pieces of the lip hardware:

90104-SR2-003 - BOLT C, BUMPER (QTY 8) - 2.56 eu
90014-SE0-000 - SCREW, TAPPING, 5X20 (QTY 4) - 2.11 eu
90305-SH3-000 - NUT, AIR SPOILER CLIP (OTY 8) - 2.50 eu
90345-S04-000 - NUT, SUSPENSION, 5MM (QTY 4) - 2.84 eu
93405-060168 - BOLT-WASHER, 6X16 (QTY 2) - 0.13 eu

I'm sure you can use the EJ/EM optional rear lip hardware

I'm not even sure if the '99-'00 hardware is the same or close enough (I'd like ti to mount stock). Where would I even be able to find that though? I can only find hardware for front lips so far.

(I assume you said EJ/EM to mean 6th gen.... and since I mentioned needing the '96-'98 I imagine you meant '99-'00... but you might mean 5G, 6G or 7G too.)

EJ/EM = 6th gen. Honda made lips available for non-Si's too.

All you need are some bolts and 4 self-tapping screws (the blacks ones). Your lip came with those clips right?

Would you happen to have the part numbers for the 96-98 rear lip hardware? I'm looking at the part descriptions I found in the European EPC (which happen to be for a 99-00), and knowing what those parts are, I can't see how they'd work for the 96-98 rear lip. The mounting points on the 96-98 rear lip are a series of indents with two holes in them, and sit a good 2" below the bottom of the bumper. Bolts and spring nuts are not what this lip uses to mount.

She has a coupe, not a hatchback. Her mounting locations are not similar to that at all.

Here's the hardware kit for the 99-00 Si rear lip. Maybe you can count the quanities of each.

I know what EJs and EMs are. EJs include 5th and 6th gens. EMs include 6th and 7th gens, only one of which being a 6th gen.

And yeah, my mounting points don't look remotely like the CTR rear lip.

This is my lip:

Thanks, but it doesn't look like that'd mount up stock.

Yeah, I wasn't being specific.

Honda did have USDM rear lips for 96-98 Civics. Have you tried contacting a dealership to see if they have a hardware kit?

My lip *is* an OEM USDM coupe rear lip (they were part of an available lip kit for the USDM '96-'98 Civic EX coupe)

I plan to call in the next couple days plus I'm contacting online dealers too. I'll even be calling back home to the east coast to check up with some friends.

Yes, that is what I meant. I know yours is OEM, which why I saying the dealership must have some hardware kit because it was available for those years in the US. Technically, 98 was the first year there was an OEM rear lip according to my USDM EPC.

Right, I also have the EPC.

I'm not sure that the hardware kit was sold seperately from the lip though. I see hardware under accessories... but I'm not exactly sure which would be the correct parts that I need. I imagine at least some of it is still availble just because it's used elsewhere (i.e., the bolts).

I wish the accessories section had pics.

Well, HeelToe replied back and suggested the front lip hardware kit they have, which won't work for my lip. It might work for the hatch lip, but not my coupe lip.

Then when I sent photos of my mount points they recommeneded just using self tapping screws from the hardware store and maybe a plate with a couple holes in it to make it stronger.

Can anyone help me with the brackets!

Notice in the photos that my lip is missing the brackets. I either need to buy a set off of someone or need blueprints to make replicas.

Someone is supposed to be getting me blueprints, but the more people who know, the more likely it is that I'll get them soon. My parts are ready to go on and I can't put them on because I haven't been able to get these brackets made!

If anyone local to the Puget Sound is willing to let me borrow or use their rear lip to have brackets made, I am also willing to do that.

Please help me!

To be thorough, for EK/EM1 owners looking to buy the OEM installation hardware kit components separate from the OEM optional rear lip, these are the corrected Honda P/N's. Credit to NOFX for doing the bulk of the research, thanks!
