GSR swapped 99 civic Start up problem!!!
Ok so Im new to the posting scene. So bear with me. About a month ago I dropped a cylinder in my civic. Ive got a 96 model gsr swapped into it. When i pulled the head, we noticed a chunk out of the piston. well we ended up replacing the pistons, rods, and all the bearings and heard from the machine shop that the head (a p72-2) was cracked in several places. SO i bought a p72-1 head and installed it, got everything together and torqued down, went to start it, and it wouldnt start. after manipulating a few things, it will run on cylinders 1 2 and 3. but with a spark plug and wire in cyl 4 it wont start. period. but when removed, runs on 3 cylinders and has quite a bit of compression coming out of num 4 hole. help. Ive been scratching my head for 2 weeks trying to get this thing running again.

its getting spark and fuel. but if the num 4 hole gets plugged in any way (spark plug or wire) it will niot start. but without the plug and wire, it runs on 3 cylinders. timing is right. its been timed 65 million times on 2 dif dizzy's
