Default CAN I INSTALL A MSD IN MY 03 CIVIC EX???

I WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I SEE MY CAR DO NOT HAVE A COIL OR NOTHING LIKE THAT!!!

IF YOU KNOW ANYBODY THAT HAVE PICS OF 1 INSTALLED PLEASE POST THEM UP!!!

Why do u need it?

Just wondering, i do not know the answer to ur question. But if u think ur gunna get a performance gain from it, if ur cars N/A, ur kidding urself.

MSD wont really get u more performance. I doubt any, that is if u can even use it.

Also. Turn off ur caps, its annoying to read.

The reason why you don't see a coil, is because there are 4 separate coils attached directly to the spark plugs. It's called Coil on Plug (COP).

So, to answer your question directly, no you cannot use an MSD coil. You'd have to do a lot of custom wiring for that to even work. Which wouldn't yield any performance gain at all. And, in fact, might hurt your engine in the long run.

As a word of advice, try to post it up in the for sale sections, of EG/EK/EF/DC/DA maybe someone will want it.

But yes, your stock ignition is just fine. MSD would be difficult to hook up and a waste of time/money.
