Shaking when slipping
I drive a 1991 Mazda Protege during the winter to keep rust off my beloved Del Sol. It is an automatic.
Since we got snow this morning, roads have been slippery. Lots of drifting action, lots of fun. But, when both driving wheels are slipping (say going up my driveway), the car shakes pretty bad, kind of if the car was bogging and was about to die, but it is not. I read somewhere that cars equipped with an LSD would do that. True?
I know its Honda-Tech, but i am looking at why my car would do this not to troubleshoot but rather to understand why it does that. Im used to this section of Honda-Tech and do know there are knowledgeable people in here.
Please enlighten me!
Thanks a lot peeps!
