Default $129 Edelbrock B-Series HEADERS!

Ok I posted this topic last night but under a different name. Summitracing is closing out the remainder of these b series 2 piece headers for $129!!! They are for the Del Sol but will obviously fit all b16as. On the site they are listed as being for D series engines but it is a typo. I checked with them and Edelbrock. Definitely b series. Part number EDL-6742. So post if you buy these headers!

This was my earlier write up. A little more info in this one.

OK just want to let everyone know of an extremely good deal. Go on summitracing and type edl-6742 in the search bar. These are b16a 2 piece headers for a Del Sol VTEC and they are on clearance for $129!!! They are natural finish stainless steel. On the website they list them as being for D series engines but that is a misprint. They are for the B series, I checked Edelbrocks website. And the installation instructions even on summits page clearly state they are for b series engines. I have ordered one and thought if I dont pass on this info I would not be a good person. On most every other site these exact same headers are selling for $450-$550. Look on a search engine for yourself! One more thing: on the site they say they are 2.5" collectors. This is incorrect. They are about 2 1/8 to 2 1/4. I dont have mine yet but a friend does and they are gorgeous. It came to $140 after shipping! Let me know if anyone has bought these or if anyone does buy these. Peace.

There were a few threads about this in the allmotor forum a while back. They are great headers for the discount price. I have one and i'm very happy with it. Oh, and all the collectors are 2", but the primaries and secondaries are large and work well when the collector is changed to 2.5".

Best bang for buck hands down for headers.

I have one with the 2.5 mod, played with my af a tad after install my butt dnyo said a 10 hp increase ALL OVER the band, over my DC 4-1.

The header you are talking about is a real deal pro flow from edlbrock and just rocks, if you have a b series this probbly is one of the better bang for buck mods, also any mild builds with out a header slap this thing on... that DC was free but still junk wakes the car right up.

$140!!!??? Is this legit? I checked out Summit and it appears that way. If this really is true I'm ordering one up right away. My DC is old, dented and rusted. I bet the B16 flange wouldn't get in the way on my GSR too.

Summit is legit it's just a close out all B series guys should jump on.

This normally is like a 600 dollar header, I was just about to order up a Rage but now I got this and an X member plus left over ls1 funds

Haha, not me! Had a B18a for over 4 years and now a GSR with the same dc 4-2-1 header and never had to notch it. Oh well. I'm buying this header anyways (if they have any left).

I'd definetly eat this up guys why it lasts!!! for the buck it's cheaper then an OBX header and Megan...spend the time and put on a 2.5" collector and you will have one hell of a header for the buck

No mods needed, it will bolt right on. Your exhaust or cat may be a little short though so just get a piece welded on the cat to make it longer if its too short. I dont know yet, I havent got mine but after I do I will let everyone know how it is. I am leaving the collector stock as I have a 2 1/4 exhaust and dont want a 2.5 collector mod to 2.25 exhaust bottleneck.
