can i lengthen 02 sensor wires?

i am putting a chrome e-bay header on my civic and i need to relocate the CAT under the car (where the header collects) and was wondering if i could cut and splice the 02 sensor wires so they can reach.

yep thats what i did, just make sure u get the right ones connected together

did you get a check engine light afterwards? so pretty basic then huh

I did this to my friend because he ordered a cheap eBay header for his EX. I didn't solder at the time because I didn't have it at that time. No CEL.
