i was driving my car around and then my oil light started to come on but i had oil then like it wanted to die then later down the road it started making noises inside the engine like like scraping noises and other kind of diffrent noise i barely made it home my car had no more power what messed up probably all the inside of the engine

 

What are you asking here?? Or are you just sharing your story?

 

i think he is say he starved his motor of oil and isnt sure what all he screwed up

 

nah my motor had oil thats the problem how did it mess up if i had oil in it i think my engine just gave out already or did something else happen

 

You say it had oil but how much? did you pull over and check it?

 

drain the oil and tell us what you see.

 

That motors shot son. Either your oil pump went out or your oil filter plugged or your pickup tube plugged.

That crank is shot for sure, block and rods may be salvagable.

 

did you change your oil after seafoaming recently?

 

yeah my oil mark in the top line so i had oil i guess my motor gave them up already cause i was noticing a couple of days ago that it wouldnt run the same anymore and all these diffrent noises that started coming from inside the motor means that my motors F UP then huh i did put that motor through hell and also it wouldnt bouce the rev limiter either before it started making noises but the oil light was coming on

 

was it the seafoam that messed it up

 

in think it was meant to be so i can throw out that d16a6 and start saving for a k20 lol i mean a b16

 

how can i tell i messed up the inside of the engine will i be able to tell if i drain the oil

 

Drain the oil, drop the pan. Your oil should look like black metalic paint.
Oh and dont ask how to drop the oil pan either, it's easy.

 

it could have been the seafoam,,like i told you in the other thread you have to changed the oil after using that stuff it really thins out the oil,and i know you put alot of it in...

how you describe the noise,sounds like a spun bearing.

 

u need to buy a haynes manual for your car, and look in the turble shooting section

 

it prob wouldnt have helped u out much on the road but its gonna come n handy

 

yeah it does sound like a spun bearing like something is scraping inside or rubbing hard but first when noises started it started first on top like in the head like clicking then it went to the bottom like scraping noises is the engine really F up from inside

Yes. Drain the oil, I bet you'll see all sorts of metal shavings in there, which is very not good. From reading your other posts I can tell you that your motor is shot.

luckily there are d16a6 engines everywhere for sale cheap or even free since everyone is going b-series..or you can rebuild that engine yourself,,ill warn you though you may need a new crankshaft,,but wont be sure till you dis-assemble the engine..sometimes a polish from the machine is enough
