Need heat help plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i blew up my motor(h23) back in May and i drove it on no coolant home from the drag strip and it was overheating bad and i turned on the head and it worked but it went out. When i got home i pulled out the h23 and put the h22 in and the heat still doesnt werk i replaced the thermostat and the heater valve and still nothing plz help also the car is a 1995 Prelude SI. thank you.
Does the blower work?
The heater is pretty simple...either the coolant is not flowing to the heater core or the blower is not blowing the hot air into the cabin.

And check the connection to the valve that allows the coolant to flow to your heater core. I wish I knew what it was called. It's the valve that you control by adjusting your temperature.
the blower motor blows air but it is cold air and my coolant temp is norm and i replaced the heater valve (which is the valve that connects to the heater core to the cylinder head) i think i jux need a heater core.

Have fun with that...it's a bitch
I honestly would try everything you can before you take out the heater core. I couldn't see it going bad very easily unless it was clogged up or had a hole in it or something (then it would leak into the car).
You sure the cable from your climate control is properly opening up the valve?
