Default not sure what to do?

hello ima noob haha

but i am planning on getting a honda in some months time, and me being the person i am want to plan ahead...

i am considering doing either an 94-97 Accord F22 turbo OR a d16 turbo

what would be the pros and cons of each one?
i love the 5th gen accord's styling, plus i heard that motor is pretty torquey

then i saw a d16turbo video and it hauled

Opinon... ....here it go!

Stay away from a D16 turbo.... or a D16.... because in an accord.... that's just not enough power to "haul" the accord.
D series and B series don't have enough torque to go with the accord 5th generation size and weight.

The F22 motor is pretty strong, I say is reliable just like other Honda engines. Sure you can turbo it, but I find it to be pretty responsive with the bolt on mods as well.

even though the OP wasn't specific, I would hope they are referring to a D16 in a Civic.

I have 95 EX and its great. Im not sure about a turbo though.

But if your talking about having mucho funds I would just do an all motor build.

That is correct as long as your tuner knows what he/she is doing. Without boost, it's a normal d16 with 30+mpg...After 4k rpm, watch out!

I say H22 Swap and if still not enough hp/trq turbo the H series, if you don't have the $$$ then go SOHC F series there really cheap motors, its just like as if you had a civic w/single cam VTEC $300 turbo it boost 13lbs blow it and replace it . but when you get b-series they cost more $$$ then you would put the money into it to build it so it can handle 13+ lbs. boost.

So if you go turbo F22 then just run it till it dies and put another one in, but if you go H22 build it turbo it and LOVE IT!!!!

MY OPINION IF YOU DON"T LIKE IT F#CK YOU! < that's to the HATERS
