i got a 05 accord 2.4L with the k24 motor, and i was wondering should i go with a turbo or supercharger?? i want to do as many mods to my engine as possible.. i would appreciate if you guys give me some info and advice bec Ive never owned a Honda b4 so idk what to do

I don't even think anyone makes a kit specific for the accord.

Like I said in the other thread, it's not a performance oriented car

it doesnt have to be for the accord.. the K24 motor comes in the acura's also.. i have a turbo for it and waiting to put it in, i just have to get a aftermarket exhaust manifold.. i was thinking about the sidewinder manifold.. im not sure tho

I would get a supercharger just for reliability. A lot of people who are new to modding stuff always end up turning the boost up a bit which usually leads to disaster. and the good thing about a supercharger is that turning up the boost requires a lot more effort than pushing a button or turning a ****. Supercharger may also be easier to install since it's on the front instead of the back.

Be sure to have a program to tune with before you go forced induction.

yea i have a 09 accord with a cat-back magnaflow exhaust system and a air filter but im looking for more parts to install to help my performance ive been realizing that there really isnt many mods I can do besides custom turbo / supercharger and im trying to spend less than 3grand on a single mod...

kseries turbo> kseries supercharger.

theres a lot more info on k20a.org but its all pretty simple. use kpro to tune it all. just have to know which parts work best with the others and you can put down some real good numbers. id do a ton of research on k20a.org before i started getting serious tho. its expensive

Well not really, but there are kits out there for a twin-screw/roots supercharger (and more commonly) centrifugal supercharger (the one that looks like a turbo). There are also turbos out there that would fit into the car. Even if you want a kit you can make it fit, that's a part of the fun of modding a car, getting to personalize it the way you want. Cooling lines in the way? Move them (obviously in a correct manner). @Kev2010
