Default Help! I can't get the crank bolt off.

I am in the process of changing my timing belt and I absolutely can not get the crank bolt off. I bought the tool to hold the pulley, I tried an impact wrench, I've tried to heat the bolt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need leverage.
I couldn't get it off with an impact either, even at ~140 psi.
The jack handle on the end of a ratchet did it though.

What kind of impact gun are you using? Did you try putting the gun on beast mode? Use a 3/4 inch drive air gun, it shouldn't be a problem.

If you bought the crank pulley holder tool from honda then it should be easy to get it off

find your 19mm socket, 1/2" drive extension and your 1/2" rachet and a breaker bar you can slip onto the rachet

if you have a hydralic jack, then grab the jack bar off of that and use it as a breaker bar and have the crank pulley holder tool wedged ontp the front vibration mount. once you got that set up just reef on the breaker bar

coat liberally with PB Blaster if you haven't already.

Might be a dumb question, but are you going in the right direction?

if you have a good impact it should come off without much problem. Turn up the air pressure and just let it hit over and over until it breaks loose.

I was not not able to get it off using the regular Craftman impact gun that came with the compressor. I used this:

It came off without a problem.
