would a cold air intake of a EM1 fit a 00 civic EX with the D16Y8?

yes, it will fit. The only thing that won't bolt up is the arm stabalizer bracket but you really don't need it. (it's just a bracket on the arm near about halfway down that bolts up in the engine bay to keep it from vibrating)
