Default Fujita CAI

Hey guys im in the market for a CAI and I came across this Fujita

I was wondering if this is CA expempt... also I am open to suggestions... anythinging under 200 is nice thanks !

all of the fujita intakes ive seen are not CARB exempt. so i doubt it is.

buy what you want but keep your stock intake for smog.

What do you reccommend for under 200? anything in particular? I passed smog already so yea.. i'll keep it for sure.

its not the intake that makes the difference its the filter. if your really hurtin just buy a ebay intake, toss the filter in the garbage and buy a k an k filter

Thats the last thing I would want to do.. I want to buy something that is not illegal keep the suggestions coming!

i have that exact same fugita CAI and im very pleased with it, plus it is about $50 cheaper than the exact same Ingen CAI

However i don't know about smog since my car in a '95 and i no longer have to get emmisions checked

just buy a ebay one + K&N filter and when you get a fix it ticket, put on the stock box and you're good to go...i am actually working on an idea for a stealthy CAI idea, but its only in the immagination mode for now

Dont do this, it wont be worth the headaches of changing it over and over again.

I was meaning the whole ordeal

You know, getting pulled over, getting sent to ref, changing intake, going to ref, changing intake back.

slit the stock intake rubber tube and slip it over the actual CAI tube (the CAI tube will probably be bigger so face the slit in the rubber tube on the bottom).
then gut the stock box, route the CAI piping through and throw on a filter in the fender well (where all CAIs route the filters). and then you have a Stealth CAI.
