ive been dealing with this for over a year and it hasnt **** out yet, in most cases i find that the axle seals with these trannys will **** fluid while driving, and no lubrication with syncros will tend to cause a whining noise. you usually wont have a puddle cause it only happens when the car is in motion. just check them its an easy fix

What type of noise are you hearing?

My h22 trans makes a wirring noise only audible at low speeds.. It seems more than normal. It comes from the differential
