Default Going up to the mountains with the Vegas meet..Is it imperative I go get waxed?

I was thinking I would have my car waxed before I headed up to the mountains..but my friend couldn't get it done for me yesterday. (He works at Lexus, he was going to sneak my car through.)

I'm a little worried about all the dust, just seeing if I can get some quick replies before I head out. Is it imperative I go get it waxed before we go up to the mountains? Or will the paint be able to handle it? And another place I called to go get it done fast has frozen pipes so they can't do a wash for me right now either. If it's important I do it, I'm going to go buy stuff and do it myself right now.

it'll be ok but to protect the car and keep it nice for a long time you should ALWAYS have wax on it.

When you get home run it through carwash that has an undercarriage wash

This kind of has something to do with this topic, so I thought this would be the best place to bring it up..what do u guys use for ur dash..it's not a typical Armor-all kind of dash, so just curious what you guys thought...someone brought up using Tire Shine? don't know if that would work..kinda iffy on using that..but it would give it a good shine..

i never use anything on my dash. I don't like the glare.
Plus the dash is designed not to crack anyway.

I wouldnt be stressing about it that much... just wait til the trip is over and get it waxed then, you'll be fine.
