Default ok guys, i might be done for awhile. just letting you all know

ok, i know this may not be the right place for this, but i figure since you guys know me best... id just tell it here.

today has been hell on me..

Found out my mom might have liver cancer
Porsche was wrecked today (doesnt matter but still)
and to top it all off. i watched one of my best friends die tonight.... he was on his bike when a lady pulled across the road and stop in front of him... hit her so hard her car ended up on the roof.

so in all honesty i just have no desire to work on my car anymore, my mental status has gone to **** after this, i went down and looked at my car and didnt know what to feel.. i just need time away and everything, but cars are my life. so im not too sure what to do really. this may seem a little rambly and random but sooo much is going through my head right now i cant make sense of it all.

i guess until further notice my project is on hold at least with the si... im gonna pick up a sol and put my built motor in it for the meantime. i jsut dont have the time or nerves to deal with my em1 right now.

thanks to everyone that has helped me, flamed me, talked **** whatever. at least you guys had something to say.

im not selling out or anything like that, just taking a break i guess. im so confused right now.

anyways, later guys. post up comments or advice, whatever, ill take anything postivie i can get right now

Everything happens for a reason.
God works in mysterious ways.

edit: hearing the death of someone close to my age really hits home..esp after i sold my bike 2 months ago in fear of one day wrecking..

Was responsible for the lives of 60+ soldiers, well more like my family. I knew them all like my brothers and sisters or sons and daughters. We ran a medical facility for almost a year and also provided ambulance escorts for thousands of convoys in the worst of places. I lost one of my friends, he was a husband and a father and of course a son, an all around great guy who I knew would go on to great things and be a great leader. His loss was very hard for me to accept, what I did realize is that I now carry the responsibility of living for him in a way. No matter what the world throws at me, I got to suck it up and press on. I take time to remember him whenever things are good or bad. When things get bad I press on and when things are good I think of him and, well I’m rambling on now, but embrace life cuz it’s fleeting. Keep your head up and use your god given talents to the best ends.

Just let it all sit and regain your thoughts for a few days. There are lots of things going on but everyone including your mother and your friend would want you to live your life and enjoy it and not give up on thier account.

Keep your head up man, you got your life to live still and you need to be strong and happy for your mom

Sorry to hear that dude, when **** happens in my life (nothing that serious has happened yet thank god) the only thing I have to turn to is my car. I know it sounds corny but nothing makes me happier and pisses me off at the same time more than working on my car. Good luck with everything and i hope we will get to see it finished one day.

Yeah, keep your head up. Things seem to get worse before they get better sometimes. I have had a rough couple of months, but not near as rough as yours. Things happen for a reason, let God take care of your worries.

This is what we as people go through. I've already had 4 family members pass away, and I know exactly how it feels. Take things one step at a time and don't let yourself get neck high in the deep end, in a pool of sorrow. Just know that God has plans for everyone, religious or not. Good people who live short lives, only escaped this God forsaken world we live in. They are in a better place.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother and freind, and the porshe. I have also lost friends close to me and at those points I also wonder what is really important in life, and cars seem to take a back seat for awhile and thats okay, spend time with those who shared memories of your freind and I will be praying for your mother.
