Rock the 4 lug, they are fine. Watch the best motor ITR video, you'll see that the 5 lugs arn't a hole lot better, the stopping distance wasn't that huge. The key is making sure you take advantage of the ABS, because that is the big difference between DC4 and DC2......so make sure you hook that up. Not sure if your running HPDE and Track days, but you could also look at Spoon, Willwoods, etc.

Again, ITR 4 lugs are better the then stock integra..

The 96 spec brakes are not an upgrade over regular 4x100 Integras. Same size and same calipers. What you can do to upgrade is buy 92-96 Prelude VTEC 11" front rotors and 10.2" rear rotors, then buy ITR calipers.

That setup is a great street setup.

Here is the 11" rotors w/ itr calipers up front w/ fast brakes 11" rear. off of my buddies car, this is 4x100.. same difference.

Fill's 15" wheels nicely.

well i knew they were the same size but just had different calipers.....so say if the calipers are the same as a 98 itr...would i just have to buy the LUde ROtors for the front....would that also go the same for the rear.....

If you go with prelude 11" rotors and ITR calipers you'll have to shave a little off the caliper as the offset of the lude rotors is slightly off (it'll become apparent where needs shaving when you go to fit them) Here in europe MB6 civic VTi front brakes (282mm) are a straight bolt on job for 96spec front brakes and the calipers/pads are the same as the ITRs. I have the full MB6 set up (front and rear - 262mm discs on the rear but the rear caliper bracket bolt holes are a little too wide and so need drilling out to space them properly) however i fitted 262mm AP lockheed HTSL front rotors with axxis ultimate pads and i cant see any 282mm upgrade being as effective as them, theyre practically impossible to get them to fade and the cold bite would send you through the windscreen if you were belted in. AP have renamed the HTSL rotors to AP Dixel, theyre grooved lightweigh high temp rotors and approx 2/3 the weight of teh stock rotors (but only last maybe 10k miles) but totally worth it for the stopping power!

my bad, my point is that this is fine for daily and simi tracked car.....no point in upgrading just for Show points imo

Yes, and so does every other integra

Correct you either need to shave 1/8" off the caliper mounting bracket or else run a 1/8" spacer behind the rotor. Also as an FYI 92-96 Prelude VTEC calipers are IDENTICAL (same part number etc) as ITR calipers.

From personal experience, the itr 4x114 stops way better the gsr/civic si's.

From personal experience, it's the EXACT SAME brake setup except for hubs and rotors. Your pads may have been different or else your brain is broken

Yep, '96 ITR calipers are exactly the same as LS/GSR calipers. This has been confirmed only a gillion times.

Thats not true, only some tegs come w/ 1" MC's its varies.

The majority of dc2's have 15/16th MC's.

I was under the impression that '98-01 'tegs had the 1" dealie, and the older ones had the 15/16" dealie.

i was under the impression the 92-96 preludes were a bolt pattern of 4x114 and all 4 lug civic/integra are 4x100.

how do the 11" prelude vtec rotors fit 4x100 integra hubs if this is the case?

Accords are 4x114 as well, if you check out our FAQ section there's the "big brake" upgrade along with some other stuff.

Accord Wagon Rotors are 11" or so vs the 10" and legend calipers will work as well but it's all listed there
