Speedometer not working, rest of cluster is fine. VSS broken?
Speedometer part of the cluster is not working on my car. I swaped two clusters (one auto, which was originaly on the car before the auto>manual swap, and one from a manual) but the problem is still there. Is it safe to assume that it's a broken VSS (is there some way to diagnose it to make sure), or could it be something else? I checked all the fuses (there is no particular fuse for speedometer) and they are fine. Should I have rewired something when I did the swap? Both clusters used to work fine, but since I did auto>manual swap, it's a no go.
If it's a broken VSS which years and models Civics have the same VSS?
