I put a 90-93 LS pump on my b18 swap in my EG...so yeah, it can be done...

Default I put a 90-93 LS pump on my b18 swap in my EG...so yeah, it can be done...

everyone converts to the 94-01 integra brackets to use their factory d-series pump on their LS swaps.

well for me with my obd-0 b18a1 swap (converted to obd-1) in my 93 hatch, that would mean buying a later b18b crank pulley with the power steering pump being serpentine as well as the 94+ LS power steering pump brackets.

this would have cost me $40+ shipped for the brackets and $50+ shipped for the pulley (best prices I could get on here and ebay...).

so I was like the hell with that.

I still had the 91 LS donor high pressure line laying around so I pulled off my high pressure line and compared them and realized the steering rack hardline was just twice as long as the civic one so I just bent it in a loop and hooked it up and it works like a charm...

it even bolts to the valve cover properly lol.

so yeah, it can be done, and relatively easy if you have patience and IMO a bench vise to aid in the slow bending you need to do.

The pics I took arent the best but it does show (sorta) the loop in the hardline portion (as well as the obd-0 sensor connector which I will splice) as well as the LS pump on the car. I removed the belt so you could see the v-belt pulley on it to prove its an obd-0 LS pump.

oh yeah, and it works like a charm and only cost me a new v-belt as my donor one was rotted.
