Brakes
Having some trouble getting the piston pushed back farther into the caliper to put on new brake pads. I put a clamp on it and still couldnt get it back. Could it be they are shot?
it might be that the pads just arent lining up or are sitting as compressed as possible to the rotor, just try pushing those together as close as possible because they like to move or
open the bleed valve when you put the clamp on, it might relieve some of the pressure in the piston.
they shouldn't be shot becuase they worked before didnt they?

Well they were kinda locked up for awhile but seem to be working well recently. Opening the bleerder valve was my next option to try and compress it...Anyone know any other tricks?
are there slots on the caliper... if so there is a cude that you put on at it attaches to a 3/8 ratchet that turns back into... i had this problem on my accord but im nto sure if they are oin the crx i havent changed my brakes since i got it orig owner new brakes

for the rear brakes the piston isnt pushed in but twisted back in due to the ebrake mechanism.
what i did was took a screw driver that fits perfect into the cross (+) of the piston and turned it clockwise
worked like a charm...
but the real way there is a special tool for the rear that groves into the piston and you turn it

i just had to do some work on my rear cy,inders I had to open the bleeder valve to let the brake fluid out of the cylinder to fit my pads on. it might help of you tap it up and down a little casue it might be stuck open.
ok so i opened the bleeder and that bitch aint movin...no way no how...so my next question, should I try and find rear calipers which will prolly be hard as ****, or rebuild the ones I got? Are there any other calipers that will fit?
Do exactly what ozrednsx said. Use a screwdriver shaft to turn the piston clockwise until it bottoms out in the caliper, then unscrew it just enough to get the grooves perpendicular to the caliper so the pad will sit into them. like this: /(+)\
