Need ADVICE! 1 cylinder's PSI is at 45% and not passing smog
Hey everyone, i had an important question. Im trying to get my car smogged, i already had the cat and 02 sensor repaired but my CEL light is still going on. Apparently 3 of my cylinders are at a normal PSI after a leak down test but 1 of the cylinders is still at 45% PSI, my mechanic told me that i would probably have to replace all the cylinders to fix the CEL light and get of rid of the problem of the engine crapping out on me later. Is this true? do i really have to replace all the cylinders? He's quoting me for 2500-3500. thats basically a new fkn engine. i think thats retarded. What could the problem be? i need help!!! thankss

I'm going to guess H22, seeing as his car's a 2000. As for the bad compression, I have no idea. 2500-3500 can get you a JDM swap.
