Default turbo manifold fitment

i have a 96 ls and noticed that there isnt much space between my stock headers and the radiator. if i install a turbo set up, do i need to relocate the radiator?

Most likely you won't need to move it.....even tho like boots said

If anything you could always replace the full sized radiator for a dual core half rad.

Although with a turbo setup...your biggest enemy is heat.

If you decide to go half sized....please invest in a good radiator and not some cheap POS

It depends , if your using a ram horn you need to go half size . If its a log you just need a slim fan , or you can remove the condenser fan and move it into the the cooling fans spot and do away with the full size fan completly . It works on my turbocharged integra and it never overheats or gets hotter than it was stock .

No...There are tons of people using the POS Civic radiator in boosted Teg's and don't experience overheating problems...

I believe you.....yet at the same time you cannot deny the increased risk of overheating.

Im not even using a full size fan , im using my A/C fan to cool my radiator . I mean yea theres definitly risks involved , just keep an eye on the temp gauge the first few times you take it out and everything should be fine . My car runs real cool , which suprised me a lot .

I ran my original turbo setup w/ the stock full length radiator, but there are only certain manifolds built to fit like that....

With my new topmount i'm using one of those POS Civic Si radiators and haven't had any problems either....maybe they're not such crappy units afterall....

It's a tight fit but it works, just use a log manifold. (inline pro)

Use the smaller radiator from a civic.

Not all true...you can use a full length radiator with the Neukin a/c compatible ram horn as well as Full Race's RR version.
