HELP!! Code 16

Default HELP!! Code 16

My stock 90 crx si is not firing injectors one and two. It is throwing a code 16, I replaced the fuel injectors and it is still doing the same thing. Should i Change the Main Fuel Relay? What Else should I check??


NEED HELP SOON ITS MY DD

Check the injector wires at the ecu. Check all your pin-outs in that area as well. Make sure there arent any breaks in the wires, or noticibly loose pinouts. If that checks out ok, move to the big plug located over your drivers side shock tower. follow your injector wires to this plug and check for bad connections.

I highly doubt it would start. If it makes you feel better, resolder the joints. But if I were you I would check the wiring. I had this problem with my number 3 injector forever only it was super intermittent. Turned out to be at the big plug over the shock tower.

i hear a clicking noise from the main fuel relay when i start the car, any possible way i can check that big plug on the shock tower without a volt meter... i dont have one here....That may be the problem bcause i got alot of water under the hood from a storm we had days ago

replaced the main relay......still not firing one and two, i tested the big connecter on the chock tower you told me to test with a test light, it lights up on only one prong that is in the connector......?? bad connector maybe?? i then tested the green plug next to the big plug on the injector box and i didnt get any light while i tested the prongs on the green connector...bad connectors?? bad injector box?

Like Coltmorris said, check your wires. The main relay powers the injectors all at the same time. The ECU grounds them as required to trigger them. Only 1 and 2 are not operating. 3 and 4 must be, so that rules out the main relay. Pull and reseat the shock tower connector and visually inspect it while it's apart. Look for corrosion, bent pins, etc.
