i have a 98 civic ex and recently discovered the o-ring (i think) leaking i haven't got around to fixing it yet and more recently my idle has been acting up i was wondering if anybody knows what could be causing this to happen :if the laziness of me not fixing the oil problem had any part in the idle loss? the car use to idle around 700 now it starts off normal when the car is cold but soon drops to 200/100 no stalling car runs perfectly when gas is applied but it has me worried i know i need to fix it but don't know where to Begin any help is greatly appreciated thanks!!!!

 

first off clean you iacv



its on the back of the manifold..

clean with some throttle body cleaner..

it would be the distributor o-ring it is all over engine transmission and under body of car it is thickest directly under where the distributor meets the engine i already replaced the valve cover gasket
