i think i found the problem?
ok. for awhile now i've had low idle problems on some ocassions..(examples...after racing...and a long period of driving.) well...today i checked around my distributor and found oil leaking around that area. could this problem be related to my low idle problems? how dentrimental can this be to my engine? is it time for a new distributor?

Re: i think i found the problem? (krazn)
after hard driving on any car, returning to the idle will actualy dip lower than normal, reason being that ecu is recaliberating the fuel.
When u are on full throttle the ecu will engage the maping to handle the vtec or higher rpms but the sudden return to low rpms will cause the idle to roughen for a brief sec. I hope that is what u are talking about. I also hope i have been of some help.
also, are u runing a chiped ecu, or a vafc ?
vafc will cause ur idle to dip at times.
