Thats what I'd like to do. I already have the mirrors and switch in my possesion but I assume there's a special relay that's needed too. I've searched and founf only limited info on 4g's and plenty on the JDM folding mirrors but nothing on a 5g heated mirror fit.

Can anyone whos done this help me out with the following:

1) I assume the connections and harness in the doors is the same between the Canadian model that the mirrors came from and the USDM versions....just not every wire in the USDM connector is being used, right?

2) I believe the switch is a no-brainer too. Is swapping switches from a standard mirror adjusting switch to one with a heater button simply plug and play?

3) The relay! I assume I'll need one with contacts for the heaters but I've had no luck finding the information on them. Honda USA is nice enough to have an online parts catalog and fiche but it seems Honda Canada does not. I've tried emailing several dealers but they've not been the most helpful people so far. Does anyone have a part number or a dealer/source to get my hands on the required relay?

Any other pointers or info on something I'm overlooking would be appreciated.

I can only tell you to take a look at a thread for a 4th gen. I responded by looking at the helms wire diagram. I'm not real sure the 5th gens are any different.

I guess if I have orange/white wires in the harness inside the door then I'm probably starting out good.
