Default How to install heated mirrors...?

Maybe I'm just spoiled, but I miss my heated mirrors in my old car
Whenever there is condensation or ice, it would help alot (esp. since I'm ALWAYS running late to work!).

I was thinking about picking up a set of mirrors from a canadian junkyard, but wasn't sure on the wiring. Are USDM 5th gen. preludes "pre-wired" for them and/or will I need to splice anything, etc.

Thanks

I'd like to know too.

I'd also like to know part # and location of the heated seat switch? I'd love to install a set of those.

Or use my own parts, but atleast have factory switches for them.

I would guess if the OEM wires are there it would be like installing fog lights.

Get the mirrors and the switch, and some sort of relay(it does not look like you need a relay in the diagram from Helms).

If there are no wires then you would have more to handle. Also your current window switch looks like it would control mirrors w/ a heating element. So you could just by the mirrors and see if you can just use a toggle switch to turn them on.

If you get to a point were you are sure on the mirrors I can pop out my switch and take a few pics, as well as tell you which wires you would need to use to turn them on.
