i'm going to be installing a new perma-cool fan that draws 7.5amps and uses a 30amp fuse. i want to try to use the factory fan relay but i need to know how much current the factory fans pull. is it safe to to use it for this fan or do i need to wire a larger relay?

 

Should be safe. I doubt that fan really draws much more power (if any) over the stock fan

 

I wired up an aftermarket slim fan with stock harness works great So you should be fine
