Default Cooling Fan electrical connector question (esp. DA owners)

Let me preface this post by saying that I'm horrible with elecrical stuff--dumb even. Anyway, I've been running a single 10" perma cool fan (in the primary fan location as a puller) on my DA for a while now. It runs fine. The thing is that I have it wired to the electrical connector on the driver side, which is the a/c fan side. Don't ask.

I just removed the a/c condensor in order to install an additional 10" fan as a pusher on the driver's side. Should I wire each fan just like stock? Or should I just wire both to the driver side main fan connector. Would that be too much draw on one connection? Please advise.

Anyone want to school me on how the fans operate? I know that the main fan turns on when the engine exceeds a certain temperature and that the a/c fan turns on when the a/c is on. But are both fans ever on without a/c?

Hey Rah Rah,

Here is what I'm doing on my DA.

I have one 10" pusher fan wired to the stock wiring...it comes on when the Thermostat tells the Relay to turn on...although it doesnt push enough CFM while sitting in heavy traffic or NJ toll plazas w/o EZ Pass

So I have bought another 10" pusher and I am going to wire it directly to the battery with a relay and a switch inside the car so that i can turn it on whenever I need a little more CFM.

I think this should work well with the stock Rad
