Default b16a tranny

is their an american version of the JDM B16a first gen. cable tranny looking to have some work done to it and trying to find parts might be hard if theres not american version .. any ideas?

Nope there is no equivalent. You are better off just purchasing a new jdm cable trans.

Sorry I didn't mean new..I meant purchase another used trans. Or you could try to find the cable trans off a 92-93 integra gsr.

well my problem is the syncros are going bad and i thought about just replacing those and maybe a LSD ??

right, and what he is saying is that you cant replace the syncrhos in a jdm trans with usdm parts. the only cable trans for b-series motors that are usdm are the ones found in 90-93 tegs.

is there any other choices in trannys? cuz i not sure how hard its going to be to find a B16a tranny thats in near perfect condition..

Talk to larry, call um or email him, I gurantee you he can hook you up with one.....not sure on price though, but it will be in good quality, and packed nicely and safely. This is for a used one though.

your better off buying a different used b16 tranny, all said and done a need syncro kit will cost you about $300 so save your time and buy a used b16 trans
