Default 99-oo b16 into my 96 hatch???

JUST NEED A LITTLE INFO .IF ANYONE WANTZ TO HELP ME OUT THAT WOULD BE GREAT . MY Q'S ARE I WANT TO PUT THIS MOTOR IN MY CAR MYSELF AND I KNOW ITS PRETTY SIMPLE BUT IM NOT REALLY SURE ON A FEW THINGS, LIKE AXLES IF I CAN USE THE SAME OR WIRING DO I NEED THE HARNESS FROM THE SI? AND CAN I USE THE SI. MOUNTS OR EVEN MAYBE SOME OF THEM. IF ANYONE CAN AN HELP ME OUT THANX.

Well installing the motor is easy as long as you have the proper tools. I suppose you have a b16 engine and transmission. If you have the Si engine harness it would be better to use that or you can just add the missing vtec wire into the harness you already have. You will need the b16 computer or atleast a vtec compliant computer. You will need the bseries shift linkage and b series rear engine bracket. Axels will also be bseries. Other than that I think your good to go.

you don't want to use a 99-00 Si wire harness in a 96-98 civic....its incompatible. Either reuse your 96 wire harness and modify it to accomadate the VTEC solenoid and IACV, or run a 96-98 EX engine wire harness and you wont need to worry about wiring the VTEC in, but you will need to wire in the 2nd 02 sensor in if you use a US OBD2 ecu.
