Default 93 dx with b18a swap having problems with accelerator cable.

got the 91 b18 in my 93 dx and I'm using the 91 LS throttle cable. It's got like 2-3" of slack in it??

any way to take up this slack?? I see an adjustable section at the intake manifold mount but it doesnt look to be near enough.

there's not a throttle cable that will work for this without having to modify anything??

yeah your going to want to use your imagination with the throttle cable bracket. but if its only held on by one bolt, have a lock washer and tighten it down damn good. good luck. u can flip it and slide it(sounds good if u do it on a girl). either or good luck

I used a 93 DA one before and worked no problem. I would think 90-93 are all the same unless they have different brackets from 90-91 to 92-93 on the IM

alright, I'll give it another try. I'll flip the bracket around.

also, there's a rubber bushing like part that's about 1.5" long right behind the metal portion and then behind that it looks like a yellow clip. I'm wondering if all of that has to go past the pedal notch. probably where all the slack came from.

it's been like 8 months since I pulled all the LS components from the car so I dont remember too good how it went in.

Well I have the same setup in my 92 dx and I'm running a 94 ls cable it works perfect.....but yeah I'm almost positive that black rubber spacer is what's your problem, unhook the front and hook the pedal side up first, savvy?
