Default rotors.

alright i got a hold of some ek slotted rotors..i was told that if the car it came off did not have abs like my eg that they would work..how can i tell the difference in the rotors to see if they came off a abs ek?

if theyre ~10" rotors, they will work
As long as theyre the same diameter that your current rotors are, youre fine (aside from getting ready to unneccesarily chew up pads...since thats all slotted rotors are good for)

The diameter of the rotor will be 10.25" if the car was ABS (also if EX model). Unless your car is an EJ1 or EH3 (with ABS), then you have 9.5" front rotors.

Yeah, if it's the same diameter as yours, they'll work. Slotting has nothing to do with ABS.

Correct. Although MasterKwan needs NOBODY to concur that his information is correct. Take everything that this man says as the correct information by default.


To the OP: I just want you to know that you have to be certain that your caliper will clear the larger rotors you plan on installing. I'm pretty sure that If you're using for instance a GSR rotor on a Civic DX, you must ditch the smaller DX caliper in favor of the GSR/EM1 caliper.
