Default question about vitaras in a z6 after rebuilding!

im in the process of getting a Z6 fully rebuilt for a reliable low boost daily driver/weekend track application and the option to turn up the boost a little more in the future. currently im shooting for about 200HP and in the future id like to get anywhere from 250-300HP.

but i will using some vitara pistons, which i already have. id also like to combine it with some eagle rods, but im debating with just staying with the stock rods or some cheap LS rods now for sake of my budget.

so my questions are after the pistons are installed my CR is going to be lower right?

is it OK to run the engine NA for a while so that i can break it in before i throw on a turbo kit? im guessing it wont perfrom the same as a stock z6 due to the lower CR.

sorry if it doesnt make sense any help would be great!

Your compression will be about 8.5:1 off boost. How far in the future are looking for that 250-300? The stock short block can handle up to 250whp with a really good tune. Also, check out Tuner Toys for rods. Pretty much the same price as the LS rod swap.

well assuming things go well ill have my car broken in and boosted by summer.
and after that who knows, im kinda just assuming ill want more power down the line, maybe a year after initially boosting.

i looked into the TT rods, seems that they are getting changed at the manufacturer so they arent available till next mth.
